How to Quit the Feed — A Field Manual
A pocket manual for the terminally scrolled. Seven drills to unhook your attention from the infinite feed and put it back where it belongs — on the world in front of you. Clip this one out and keep it by the kettle.

> Issued by the Dead Good Club, Dept. of Reclaimed Attention. Do not distribute to your feed.
The Club has never trusted a machine that measures your life in _engagement_. This is a field manual, not a lifestyle. Work through the drills in order; skip none; report your findings to no one.
The Seven Drills
1. Grey the glass. Set the phone to greyscale for one week. Colour is bait; remove the bait.
2. First hour, no feed. The first hour after waking belongs to you, the kettle, and the window — nothing that refreshes.
3. One screen, one task. Close the twelve other tabs. They were never load-bearing.
4. Charge it in another room. The bedroom is for sleeping and reading printed matter.
5. Keep a paper list. Whatever you were about to look up, write it down. Half of it evaporates.
6. Take the long way. Walk somewhere with no headphones and no destination worth photographing.
7. Report to a human. Tell one real person one real thing that happened today.
Why bother
Attention is the only currency the Club recognises. Spend it on the world in front of you and it compounds. Spend it on the feed and it is gone, quietly, forever — and the feed stays hungry.
