Dead Good Archive
A member sent word of a pale craft seen low over the fields at dusk, and a photograph he could not quite account for. Pressed for detail at the last meet, he conceded the tale had grown in the retelling — which, we find, most of the good ones do.
Letter From the Ridge…
A note came in this month from a member up on the ridge road, who swears the same pale craft passed over twice inside a fortnight — once at dusk above the reservoir, and once at noon where the pylons step down into the valley. She is not, she is keen to stress, the sort of person who writes letters.
We print it here not as proof of anything, but because the Club has always held that a good sighting is worth more for the telling than for the verdict. Bring yours to the next meet: the kettle is on, and the sky, as ever, is under review.
